We celebrated our 20th year of being in service, committed as a Vocational Training Institute & College to offer education, courses and skill training aligned with Auroville’s vision of sustainable living and environmental stewardship. The event was held at Sri Aurobindo Auditorium, Bharat Nivas, Auroville, and was chaired by Dr. Rajneesh Bhutani, Registrar, Pondicherry University.
The Guest of Honors were Mr. M. Kalaiichelvan, Managing Director, Manatec Group of Comapnies and Mr. Nanda Kumar Menon, Managing Director, LeBracs Rubber Lining Pvt. Ltd.,
In the welcome address, Mr. Lavkamad Chandra, Director of AIAT and Dr. Sanjeev Ranganathan, Principal shared about AIAT and the significant impact made in many years by training hundreds of students, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to create a more sustainable future.
Speaking on the occassion, the Chief Guest Dr. Rajneesh Bhutani, Registrar, Pondicherry University applauded the efforts and sincerity of both the staff and management of the institution, the strength and commitment with which they are persevering to have quality in the NEP compliant applied technology courses available.
In their delivery, Guest of Honors Mr. M. Kalaiichelvan, MD, Manatec Group of Companies and Mr. Nanda Kumar, Le Bracs Rubber Lining Pvt. Ltd., applauded the efforts of students, recognising their efforts in applying themselves to learn and excel in academics for a brighter future that’s sustainable and eco-friendly. The celebrations also had a cultural programme and an award ceremony, where awards were presented to students who achieved excellence in academics and extra curricular categories.
