Bluetooth-Controlled Robotic Arm Prototype Developed at Auroville Institute of Applied Technology.

Guided by Mr. Manikandan, Electronics Mechanic HOD

Students and staff at the Auroville Institute of Applied Technology (AIAT) have designed and built a Bluetooth-controlled robotic arm prototype as part of their project in Electronics course. The Robot-arm in real life is used to pick up and move objects, making it useful in places where it is dangerous for humans to work, such as areas with radiation or harmful chemicals. It can also be used to transport and lift heavy objects, showing its versatility. Through this project, students gained hands-on experience in robotics, learning important skills like designing, use of 3 D printer for making components, programming, and testing systems. Finally, they understand functioning of a robots. They also learned how such technology can be applied in real-world situations.
